New Partnership and Changes in How to Give

We have an exciting announcement to share with you! LXP Lesotho has recently expanded our partnership with Grace Klein Community (GKC) in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. We had the pleasure of visiting GKC when we were in the US in June this year and the Lord opened a door through our relationship with this wonderful group of people. This new partnership will be a huge blessing to us for a number of reasons; in addition to the wonderful relationships we will continue to enjoy with individuals and church groups across the globe, GKC will provide intentional support for us as missionaries and as a ministry organization emotionally, logistically, spiritually, and financially. Starting from October 1st 2015, GKC is officially overseeing our funding in the United States and will receive donations for LXP Lesotho. Please take note of the updated information below regarding the way GKC will receive your donations for LXP Lesotho.

“All contributions to Grace Klein Community are tax-deductible. If you would like to support The Leadership Experience, Lesotho, please include “Lesotho Missions” in the memo line. Check donations can be mailed to Grace Klein Community, 1678 Montgomery Hwy #104, Birmingham, AL 35216, or to donate online, go to www.gracekleincommunity.com/donate. The money will be used to care for the missionaries and fund their ministry efforts.”

NB: For those who currently give to LXP Lesotho via check in the offering plate at RBC or FCC churches, this method of donating will continue unchanged.

Who are Grace Klein Community?

Mission: Create authentic community

Grace Klein Community seeks to create authentic community (Koinonia) by uniting diverse individuals, businesses, ministries, and churches to work together by sharing what they have in order to meet physical and spiritual needs both locally and globally.

Vision: Show people that they are deeply valued and that we all have something to give

Every person wants to know they are loved and that they matter. Grace Klein Community strives to live out community as a verb, providing people a forum to share what they have so everyone has what they need. Different ways to share are as unique as all of the different people who are part of a healthy community… we can give and take time, resources, money, talents, encouragement, knowledge, work, listening, and on and on. Community means trusting that you belong to others as much as they belong to you, so that we care for one another as much as we care for ourselves. When we live in a way that demonstrates “my plenty meets your need so in turn, your plenty meets mine,” then we have the power of Christ’s love to change the world.

Purpose: Demonstrate the love of Christ

Grace Klein Community exists as an educational and charitable 501(c)3 non-profit providing relief to the poor, the distressed and the underprivileged, lessening community tensions, eliminating prejudice and discrimination and combating community deterioration and juvenile delinquency.
