Our almost-a-house
Here’s a quick series of photos to show the house building progress so far. With so many walls nearing their final height, and windows and doorways taking shape, it’s really starting to look like a house! Work has currently halted indefinitely due to rain, but as soon as the walls are totally complete, you’ll be the first to know 😉
The first door frame to go in was the one between the garage and kitchen. It was a gift from our friends in Joburg!
This photo from April 4th shows some half walls that reach window-bottom level, a couple door frames in, and a couple more waiting to go up
This shows the back wall at its final height! The windows (left to right) are of the kitchen, main bathroom, master bathroom, and master bedroom.
The two door frames in the back corner are for the master bedroom and second bedroom. The gap in the wall in the forefront of this photo is the hallway leading back toward those rooms
